An Ivorian football fan identified as Anselme Santos has reportedly apologised to his wife and children after being spotted ‘flirting’ with a young woman during Cote D’Ivoire’s Round of 16 clash with Senegal.
The Ivorian fan was spotted in the stands during his country’s epic AFCON victory over the defending champions, preferring to ignore the stadium’s raucous celebrations in favor of speaking with a young woman standing next to him.
According to Actu Foot, Santos admitted to a failure in judgment in attempting to woo the young woman and expressed regret for any disrespect caused to his wife and children.
