At least five governors in office have stormed the Supreme Court to see the rulings that are expected to be made in their cases.
They are Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Caleb Mutfaang of Plateau, and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara.
Simon Lalong, a senator and former governor of Plateau State, is also present in the courtroom for the make-or-break decision.
The governors showed up in the courtroom as predicted, accompanied by a retinue of supporters. However, as soon as they brought their principles in, the supporters turned around.
As of the time of reporting, the courtroom was crowded with attorneys, reporters, and recognized leaders of political parties.
As the decision is being delivered, the Justices are being anticipated in the courtroom.
The states where their governors are expected to know their fate on whether to remain in office or be removed are Kano, Plateau, Bauchi, Cross River, Abia, Zamfara, Cross River and Ebonyi.
