The Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate for 2023, Peter Obi, has declared that he does not think the latest attack in Kaduna was the will of God.
Speaking on a Sunday Twitter post, Peter Obi urged governments and well-meaning Nigerians to assist in laying the groundwork for the recompense of the families impacted by the incident and similar incidents in the past.
Remember that the Nigerian Army was responsible for last week’s bombing event, which resulted in no less than 87 deaths and 76 injuries.
Reacting, Obi called on the security agencies to work with reliable human intelligence reports on the ground before any offensive attack to avoid innocent casualties in the future.
He said: “The bombing that happened in Kaduna that took the lives of about 120 people was never an act of God! I don’t believe in that.”
