Super Eagles players Victor Osimhen, Sadiq Umar, and Zaidu Sanusi will find out on Monday (today) who their opponents are in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
Following the conclusion of the group stage last week, the round of 16 drawings will take place in Nyon, Switzerland.
There will be a draw between the eight group winners and the runners-up.
Teams from the same countries cannot face each other at this stage of the competition, nor can teams who play each other in the group stage.
Osimhen’s Napoli finished second in Group C behind multiple champions Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old and his teammates will likely face Arsenal, Atlético de Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City or Real Sociedad.
Sadiq’s Real Sociedad topped their group and will face any of the teams from the unseeded pot.
The unseeded pot has Copenhagen, Inter Milan, Lazio, Leipzig, Napoli, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto and PSV Eindhoven.
Sanusi’s Porto could also be in for a tough draw after finishing second in Group H with 12 points.
