Naira Marley, a Nigerian musician and the head of the Marlian Record company has refuted rumors that he signed DJ Splash.

According to Metrowatchxtra.com, Naira Marley has been the target of criticism and other accusations ever since the unfortunate passing of his former signee, Mohbad.

Nigerians have expressed concern over the inquiry into Mohbad’s murder, claiming that DJ Splash, a rumored Marlian Music collaborator, went insane after ingesting drugs provided to him by the Marlian team.

In a recent video uploaded by the actress Iyabo Ojo while she was there, DJ Splash’s mother said that ever since her son left Naira Marley’s house, he has been “mentally unstable.”

In response to this, Marley denied accusations that DJ Splash was his official DJ or affiliated with his record company during a recent interview with Reno Omokri.

He continued by saying that the DJ had left him when he began facing issues.

“DJ Splash was never signed to Marlian Music. I know him as a DJ, but he has never deejayed with me at shows or anything, it is not like he is my DJ. They just gave him the title because I have a picture of him.

“When whatever happened to him, he was not at my house, and I do not understand where all this is coming from,” he said.
