Harry Kane, a striker for Tottenham Hotspur, is scheduled to get a medical with Bayern Munich ahead of a potential move this summer, according to The Athletic.
On Thursday night, a deal worth £100 million between the two clubs was completed for the England captain.
The Bundesliga winners had to wait for Kane’s final approval before proceeding after striking an agreement in principle with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
Following the conversations, Bayern is now more optimistic that a deal can be closed in the next few days with Kane prepared to undertake a medical.
Kane needs to travel to Germany to finalize the details of his contract, and Tottenham is anticipated to formally give him permission to do so.
The 30-year-old will sign a deal for around £400,000 per week.
