The last preseason matchup against Rayo Vallecano will not include Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea has placed multiple offers for the player.
Caicedo was given a whole weekend off by Seagulls manager Roberto De Zerbi in order to retain concentration on their Premier League season opener against Luton Town, according to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports.
Following the departures of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic, Chelsea is ready to sign Caicedo.
Although there have been ongoing discussions between the two clubs, they have not produced anything because Brighton has maintained their position on pricing.
