Victor Osimhen and Napoil are on the verge of signing a new contract.
According to Sky Sport Italia, both sides are working on the contract’s final terms.
Osimhen will sign a new two-year deal with the Partenopei that would keep him with the club until 2027.
The new deal will also have a release clause worth about €150 million.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis allegedly planned to include a €200 million release clause in the deal, but appears to have caved to pressure from Osimhen’s team to reduce it.
This summer, Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich were all interested in the Nigeria international.
Last season, the 24-year-old was the leading scorer in Serie A, with 26 goals in 32 appearances.
