David De Gea, the Manchester United goalkeeper, has left the club.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer market analyst, confirmed the story on Saturday via his verified Twitter profile.
“BREAKING: David de Gea leaves Manchester United, it’s over,” Romano wrote.
De Gea joined Manchester United from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has made 545 appearances for the club.
While with the club in the 2022/23 season, he beat Peter Schmeichel’s club clean sheet record and also won the Premier League Golden Glove.
