Francis Ugachukwu, a visually handicapped man, will chill out at the Kirikiri Correctional Facility after being accused of defiling a 13-year-old girl (name withheld).

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the defendant was remanded in custody until the hearing and submission of his bail application by Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court.

For a hearing on the bail request and the start of the trial, Soladoye postponed the case to October 18.
