Members of the Delta State House of Assembly (DSHA), yesterday, elected principal officers for the 8th Assembly.
While Emeka Nwaobi (Aniocha North) emerged Majority Leader, Festus Okoh (Ika South) was named Deputy Majority Leader.
Also, Perkins Umukoro, representing Sapele Constituency was elected Chief Whip.
Recall that the House had, during its inaugural plenary held on June 13, elected Emomotimi Guwor and Arthur Akpowowo as Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively.
