Those condemning President Bola Tinubu for the number of vehicles that trailed his motorcade when he arrived Lagos a few days ago for the Sallah break are idiots, according to Nigerian comedian, SeyiLaw.

Tinubu set the internet ablaze after dozens of vehicles said to be numbering about 120 trailed his motorcade as he left the airport after returning to Lagos from London for the Eid-el-Kabir holidays.

Nigerians criticised the extravagant display of exotic cars as unnecessary especially at a time the government removed subsidy on petrol to cut cost.

But in SeyiLaw’s view, the criticisms came from people who are mentally ill.

He said, ”Those shouting about the president’s convoy, are you sure you are okay? Well, how else do you know some people are mentally ill.

“The fact that some idiots can’t tell that the president’s motorcade is less than 10% of the entire convoy of cars shows the level of foolishness we have to deal with in this country.

“If ASIWAJU had asked the people not to come and welcome him at the airport, they would have danced naked that he doesn’t have any supporter,” the comedian tweeted.
