Napoli will meet with Victor Osimhen’s agent to negotiate a new deal since they do not want to lose their top striker this summer.
Osimhen was essential to the Partenopei’s Scudetto victory in the just-finished season.
In 32 league games, the forward made 26 goals and contributed five assists.
Athletic director Cristiano Guintoli and manager Luciano Spalletti have already left the organization, and Kim Min-Jae, a defender, is reportedly expected to leave.
Osimhen, who has a keen interest in the Premier League, is a player that the Naples club is desperate to maintain.
According to TMW, Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, has already scheduled a meeting with Osimhen’s agent to talk about the striker’s new contract.
The Napoli club estimates the worth of the Nigerian international at about €120 million, which they think would be enough to deter interest in the forthcoming summer transfer window. The player is presently under contract with Napoli until 2025.
