The Senate, on Tuesday, approved a request by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to appoint 20 Special Advisers (SAs) in his government.
This followed the letter of request from the President to the Senate, read on the floor of the upper legislative chamber by Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Earlier, Senate Leader, Senator Ibrahim Gobir moved the motion for the consideration of the request by President Tinubu for the approval of the Senate to appoint 20 SAs.
The motion was seconded by the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Philip Aduda (FCT).
