On Wednesday, the Lega Serie A unveiled three finalists for the Player of the Season award, including Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.
Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan and Rafael Leao of AC Milan are the other two finalists.
Last season, Leao took home the title, but Osimhen is the clear favorite this season.
The Nigeria international assisted Napoli in capturing the Scudetto for the first time in more than three decades.
This season, the 24-year-old has 25 goals in 32 league games for the Partenopei.
Osimhen is also a strong contender for the top-scoring honor.
