The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has unveiled the Kashimbila Multipurpose Dam with 40MW Hydropower Station, 132KV Switchyard, Transmission Line, and Distribution Substation Phase I Project, situated in Taraba State.
The Federal Ministry Of Water Resources revealed this in a post shared on its Facebook page on Friday.
Buhari gave highlights on the project and the role in his administration’s commitment to achieving the target of 30GW of electricity in the country by 2030 while speaking at a virtual ceremony held at the Council Chamber, State House, Abuja.
