The opposition Action Alliance (AA) has announced the withdrawal of its petition against the victory of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

Counsel for the AA, Oba Maduabuchi withdrew the petition on behalf of the party, at the pre-hearing session of the presidential election tribunal on Monday in Abuja.

However, no reason was given for the withdrawal.
