A building apartment within the Palace Of the Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has been razed down by fire.
According to a statement signed by the Palace spokesperson, Moses Olafare, the inferno which was triggered by power surge started about 11:30pm on Friday.
Olafare stated that no casualty and cultural items lost during the incident, adding that the inferno did not spread beyond the affected building located at a section of the palace premises.
