Edo Assembly Poll: PDP Wins 12 Seats, APC 8, LP 1, 3 Inconclusive

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State is currently in the majority lead as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Tuesday, released the results of the Saturday, March 18, 2023 House of Assembly elections for the state.

The results were contained in a press release issued and endorsed by the Edo INEC’s Head of Department, Voter Education/Publicity, Timidi Wariowei, and made available to journalists on Tuesday, in Benin City, the state capital.

While three constituencies’ seats were declared inconclusive, the PDP leads as majority party having won twelve Seats so far out of the twenty-four seats, while the All Progressives Congress (APC) has eight, and Labour Party (LP) winning just one.
