Ahead of Guber Polls, Atiku urge Nigerians to vote PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has made suggestions on candidates that Nigerians should vote for on Saturday, three days before the gubernatorial election.

At Saturday’s nationwide governorship and state House of Assembly elections, Atiku encouraged Nigerians to support PDP candidates.

The former Vice President predicted that the election on Saturday will reveal the legitimacy of the presidential vote.

He spoke in a video addressing Nigerians which was circulated by his spokesman, Paul Ibe, on Wednesday.

“As the March 18 governorship and House of Assembly elections beckon, I urge you as patriotic citizens to come out in your numbers to cast your votes because that is one of the ways you can use to demonstrate against the sham of an election on February 25.

“As you cast your votes peacefully this Saturday in observance of the electoral and INEC guidelines, be sure to do so for the candidates of the PDP, the only truly national party for the greater and prosperous Nigeria,” Atiku sai
