Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, has hailed presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, over his performance at the ongoing results declaration for Saturday’s presidential election.

Sirika said the performance of Obi has shown that ballots certainly existed on social media, especially Twitter. Before now, some Nigerians particularly oppositions had taunted Obi as a social media candidate.

However, Sirika said Obi wouldn’t have displayed a performance as he did during the 2023 general elections if Twitter was not so important for electioneering.

“I think it is wrong to say that there are no ballot boxes on Twitter. There are indeed, huge ones for that matter.

“If there isn’t any, Obi wouldn’t come this far. Social media is the greatest influencer of opinions after good works. Good work plus social media means victory,” the minister tweeted.
