Victor Osimhen of Napoli has been named Serie A Player of the Month for January.
The Nigeria international received the most votes after scoring five goals and giving one assist in four appearances for the Partenopei this month.
Previously, the striker was named Serie A Goal of the Month.
Osimhen had previously been nominated for the prize in October and November, but he was defeated by Juventus striker Moise Kean and AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
The 24-year-old beat out compatriot Ademola Lookman, Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan, Paulo Dybala of Roma, and Luis Alberto of Lazio for the individual award.
The Nigeria international is Napoli’s third prize winner in the previous five months.
Osimhen will receive the accolade before Napoli’s match against Cremonese on Sunday at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
