President Muhammadu Buhari has openly admitted that his government has not been perfect, pleading with Nigerians to forgive his administration’s flaws.
This was as President Buhari begged Nigerians to please vote for his party and its candidate, the All Progressives Congres and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, come February 25, 2023 presidential election.
He assured that the Tinubu led administration, if elected, would not only correct those flaws, but would continue from where he (Buhari) stops.
The president made these remarks on Monday during the APC presidential campaign rally held at the Katsina State’s Dikko Stadium.
He blamed Nigeria’s economic downturn on COVID-19 and other challenges, but boasted that his administration had made some modest achievements.
His words, “Please in the name of God, be patient with us and forgive us. Tell your friends, brothers, sisters and children to continue to vote for APC, Tinubu will continue from where we stop.
“Ensure your votes go to Tinubu for President and Dikko Radda for Governor of Katsina State and to other candidates of the party also.”
