Betty Akeredolu, the wife of Ondo Governor Elemo Adedipe, has been warned by the Elemo Adedipe family over her threat to deal with Bunmi Ademosu.
Bunmi is the Special Adviser on Public and Inter-Governmental Relations to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Betty accused the staffer of smuggling a “concoction” to her hubby and apparently plotting to become the deputy governor in a leaked recording.
“I’m warning her for the very last time to stay away from my husband. I will deal with you mercilessly…you’ll never forget in your life”, she warned.
Reacting, Chairman, Elemo Adedipe Dynasty of Akure, Adedipe A.Olajide condemned the “outright threat to the life of our daughter”.
A statement he signed urged the Police and the Department of State Services (DSS) to call the governor’s wife to order.
Elder Olajide said the family would hold Betty “responsible and accountable should anything untoward happen to our daughter and/or her assets”.
The dynasty empathized with Akeredolu as “he faces this unusual emotional stress from within his household at a time he has health challenges”.
Olajide also quoted a Bible verse which says “It is better to dwell in the wilderness than with a contentious and angry woman”.
The statement, however, wished the Ondo helmsman speedy recovery “so he can finish his term”.
