Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has warned that the state’s adversaries will fail in the next elections.
The Governor stated that a vote revolution will be implemented as a plan to demolish the objectives of state haters.
On Wednesday, Wike spoke at Obodhi-Ozochi Junction, where he launched the Obodhi-Ozochi Road/Bridge construction in Ahoada West Local Government Area.
He stated that the voting revolution will assure the election of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate Siminialayi Fubara to build on his administration’s successes.
Wike stated that the Rivers PDP would launch its campaign in Omoku, the headquarters of the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, on Monday.
The Governor said it would be in the interest of the people of the State to vote for the PDP governorship, National and State legislative candidates to consolidate on the gains of the past seven years.
He said the state would suffer stagnation if any opposition party was erroneously voted into power.
Wike particularly, thanked God for enabling him to change the developmental narrative for communities as they had not witnessed government presence.
