(NEWS RELEASE)

Alhaji Sule Lamido (l) and Nyesom Wike (r)

A group,  South-south Concerned Youth, has lambasted for governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido, over the internal crisis engulfing the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The group said “It is a known fact that despite Lamido’s limited education, party politics has exposed him beyond his mental capacity.”

In a statement by Hon. John Allwell on behalf of South-South concerned Youths, they admonished the former Governor of Jigawa state saying he is old enough to resolve crisis and bring peace to PDP instead of playing his current divisive role. The Party and Atiku should be wary of him as an unfriendly friend.

Recall he was one of those who sold Jigawa to APC in 2015 and hasn’t been able to win ward election till date.

It is sad to note that after the PDP convention and presidential primaries, Lamido has stood against internal crises resolution moves and have been fanning embers of discord.

It is sad to note that his tenure as Governor of Jigawa State is best remembered for the corruption that rocked the state culminating in his arrest and shameful arraignment with his two sons on allegations of siphoning over 50billion from the State treasury.

He is the first former Governor in Nigeria Politics to be charged to court with his two sons by EFCC.

Sule Lamido should allow peace to reign in PDP and play the role of an old man genuinely desirous of Peace in the Party.

We need to remind him that he is not the National Publicity Secretary of the Party. He should shut up and let Peace reign.

E-Signed
Hon. John Allwell.
