The Executive Secretary, Delta State Christians Pilgrims Welfare Board (DCPWB), Apostle Samuel Okoh, has lauded the People’s Democratic party (PDP) and its 2023 Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for choosing the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the preferred running mate to Atiku in the 2023 presidential election.

Okoh, in a congratulatory message to Governor Okowa on his emergence, described the decision of the Party and the Presidential Candidate as apt and timely.

According to the DCPWB boss, the party’s decision on Governor Okowa was yet another testimonial to its commitments and determination towards wrestling powers with the ruling All Progressive Party and, thus, returning PDP to power come 2023.

Describing Governor Okowa as a grassroot politician with wilder national charisma, Okoh, further described his emergence as Atiku’s running mate in the forthcoming election as akin to putting the square peg in a square hole.

He maintained that the combination of Atiku and Okowa as Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate respectively in  2023 general election is enough to give the other parties some sleepless nights, adding that with the duo flying the Party’s flag, PDP is sure to return to power.

Meanwhile, the man of God has enjoined Nigerians to be prepared to vote massively for the Party in the forth coming elections in order to strengthen the party’s poise for victory at the poll come February, 2022.

He advised those who were yet to register for the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to do so in order to ensure that they vote for the party of their choice in the next election.
