Human Rights Activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has called on Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for other political parties.
This is following the victory of former Lagos governor Bola Tinubu at the Wednesday’s APC presidential primary which Osinbajo contested but lost to his erstwhile godfather and benefactor.
Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to emerge the APC flag bearer, defeating his main rivals, ex-Minister Rotimi Amaechi and Osinbajo who scored 316, and 235 votes respectively.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Adeyanju said: “Osinbajo and others should defect to other political parties if they lose and run if they are convinced about running for president.”
