The remains of late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, has finally been laid to rest, in line with Islamic rites.

Recall that the monarch passed away Friday at the Afe Babalola Hospital in Ado-Ekiti where he was hospitalised.

Earlier, the Chief Imam of Oyo, Masud Ajokidero, and other faithful, said final prayers over the remains of late Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi III.

Oba Adeyemi died at the age of 83, after over 50 years on the throne, and now the longest serving Alaafin of Oyo Kingdom.
