Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbanke East Ward of Edo state, Engr. Prince Lucky Igbinedion, has resigned his position as the Publicity Secretary of the APC, Orhionmwon Local Government Chapter.
The acknowledgement copy of the resignation letter which was sighted on Saturday by this News Outlet, shows the APC leader resigned officially on 2nd of March, 2022.
Prince Igbinedion, in the letter, thanked leaders of the APC in Orhionmwon for giving him the opportunity to serve the party twice as Publicity Secretary.
He further stated that he was resigning to pursue other political aspirations on the platform of the party.
Engr. Prince Lucky Igbinedion is a frontline aspirant for the Orhionmwon East seat at the Edo State House of Assembly in 2023.
As Senior Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki, he reportedly secured employment for over 140 Orhionmwon youths as Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) officials as well as other Public and Civil service jobs.
He was also Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project/Program Management and Strategic Planning, Quality and Assurance Control, Public Private Partnership and Consultant Engineer, Benin River Port and Access Roads Project.
According to Igbinedion, whose formal declaration is in the days ahead, he hopes to bring his wealth of experience to bear to compliment and build on the gains of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Hon. Patrick Aisowieren’s developmental strides and welfare efforts in Orhionmwon East Constituency.
His representative agenda, he said, will focus on returning Orhionmwon East to a commercial hub status contributing immensely to the gross domestic product of Edo State as it was in the 70s and 80s.
