Rotimi Amaechi! ‘I Submit My Application to Serve as Your Next President’

Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, Saturday formally joined the 2023 presidential race. He told APC faithful at Port Harcourt, Rivers State, that he was contesting the 2023 presidential election.

He joins Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello and Ahmed Bola Tinubu who had earlier declared their intentions to run for the exalted office.
Amaechi, who made the declaration while addressing the APC Members in Rivers State, said he was by the address, submitting his application to serve as president of Nigeria.
He wrote on his verified FB page:

 
“I stand before you today to declare my intention and submit my application to serve as your next President.” 
Amaechi served twice as the head of Buhari’s campaign in 2015 and 2019.

The minister is the first member of Buhari’s cabinet to throw in his hat in the presidential ring, others interested in the 2023 race are yet to make their intention known.
