Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Friday, described late Chief Dennis Okuku as a man of honesty, integrity and philanthropy whose goodwill has been felt by his community, the state and the country at large.
The Governor who spoke through his Deputy, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro while attending the funeral mass of the deceased Octogenarian at St Mary’s Catholic Church Ovwian, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State said that the death of the community leader has left a serious vacuum
While eulogising the sterling virtues of the deceased business man, Governor Okowa enjoined his children to continue to uphold the good and Godly virtues their deceased father left behind.
Earlier in his homily, the officiating Priest, Reverend Father Ambrose Onyenwuchi reminded the congregation that the essence of life is to inherit eternal life.
The cleric stressed the need for humanity to continue to aspire to make heaven through good deeds as one is destined to die one day irrespective of how much one cares about physical health and material things.
He noted that the deceased, Chief Dennis Okuku demonstrated high level of selflessness, patriotism and commitment to the work of God  throughout his lifetime which he said will definitely endear him to God.
