Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has officially handed over 54 construction equipment to the 18 Local Government Councils in Edo State.

The equipment, including graders, excavators, and rollers, is aimed at boosting grassroots development and improving infrastructure in rural areas.

The equipment is part of Governor Okpebholo’s SHINE Agenda, focusing on Security, Health, Infrastructure, Nutrition, and Education.

The machines, according to Governor Okpebholo will enable local governments to deliver practical governance, improve road networks, and enhance drainage systems.

Governor Okpebholo urged Local Government Chairmen to use the equipment transparently and efficiently for public goods.

The handover ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, who commended the Edo State Government for prioritizing development at the grassroots level.
