The Federal Government has announced the reopening of 47 unity schools that were previously closed due to security concerns.

The Ministry of Education, Dr. maruf Tunji Alausa, made this announcement in a a statement on Thursday.

The ministry said the decision to reopen the affected colleges reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to safeguarding students and ensuring the continuity of education.

Recall that the Federal Government ordered the closure of the unity schools weeks ago following the abduction of students in schools in parts of the country.
