Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Mr. Akhigbe Osi John Sunday as the Chairman, Edo State Bursary and Scholarship Board.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, described Mr. Sunday as an astute politician and businessman.
He said the appointee holds a degree in Accounting from Oduduwa University, Ipetu Modu, Ile-Ife.
Mr. Sunday previously served as Chairman of Etsako Central Local Goverment Area of Edo State between 2018 and 2021, and Executive Director (Protocol) to the Governor of Edo State between 2012 and 2016.
He is also a member of several professional bodies.
