Woman Crushed to Death By Train in Abuja

A woman has been crushed to death by a train along the Gwagwa-Idu railway line in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, March 24, 2025, when the police discovered an unconscious woman lying on the railway track behind Zeberced Company.

Sources said that the police operatives were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they found the victim with fatal injuries, including a crushed head and broken legs.

The body was swiftly moved to Kubwa General Hospital, where medical personnel confirmed her d3ath.

The remains have been deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy, while efforts are ongoing to identify the deceased and contact her family.
