Inspector Lawal Ibrahim, a Nigerian police officer, reportedly passed away tragically following a s*xual encounter with a woman he met on social media.

Inspector Ibrahim, who was assigned to the Kwali Division, died at Palasa Guest Inn in Gwagwalada after spending the night with his online acquaintance.

The Incident occurred on Wednesday when Ibrahim checked into the hotel with Maryam Abba, whom he had invited from Dutse in Jigawa State.

Abba said they “had s*xual encounter in the night, followed by another two rounds early in the morning”.

She added, “After the second round, I noticed his breathing became irregular and stopped abruptly. I sprinkled water on him to revive him but it was to no avail.”

At that point, she reportedly alerted the hotel manager, Danlami Palasa, who contacted the police.

The police arrived at the scene and moved him to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced death. His remains were deposited at the hospital’s morgue.

A police officer at the Gwagwalada division confirmed the incident on condition of anonymity. “The lady has been arrested for questioning,” he added.

Despite multiple calls and a text message seeking her comment, SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, did not respond.
