Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk has lamented Victor Osimhen’s absence in the club’s UEFA Europa League clash against Rigas FS.
The Yellow and Reds surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 against their Latvian opponent.
Osimhen missed the encounter due to a muscle problem.
Buruk believed the 25-year-old could have helped the team get victory in the game.
“Of course, we can have shortcomings here. Victor Osimhen was not there because he was injured.
“With him, you can find more solutions in such matches,” Buruk told the club’s official website.
“We saw that Icardi also moved around more and played more comfortably; but of course, I had higher expectations from the players who entered later in the game.
“Unfortunately, we could not do this. We had to produce more.”
