Middle-aged Man Allegedly Kills Grandfather, Uncle in Ibadan

A middle-aged man, simply identified as Ahmed, has allegedly killed his grandfather and uncle in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to DAILY POST, the incident occurred in Apete, a suburb of Ibadan, in Ido’s local government area of the state, around 6 pm on Sunday.

Policemen from Apete Divisional Police Headquarters were alerted shortly after the incident.

It was gathered that the victims resided in the same place as the suspect.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident.

Osifeso in a short statement made available to Newsmen Monday morning said that an investigation had commenced on the matter.

He said, “The command has indeed received the complaint of a male suspect who allegedly killed his grandfather and his uncle.

“Investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances behind the incident. Updates concerning the case will be provided accordingly, please”.
