Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, has said only Manchester City has been more successful than his team during his time in England.
Ten Hag made this comment ahead of Liverpool’s visit on Sunday.
The Dutchman has been in charge of the Red Devils for two years, during which he won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
During that time, Liverpool have won only the Carabao Cup.
Ten Hag said: “Listen, behind City we have won the most trophies over the last two years – so we performed better than anyone else.
“Listen to me, listen to me, that’s the reality. Those are the facts.
“This year we want to win trophies – and I am quite confident we will build up to this.”
