The Naira yesterday appreciated in the parallel market to N1,500 per dollar from N1,525 per dollar on Monday.
Similarly, the Naira rose to N1,339.33 per dollar on the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM).
According to FMDQ data, the indicated exchange rate for NAFEM declined to N1,339.33 per dollar from N1,481.23 per dollar, implying a naira appreciation of N141.9.
As a result, the gap between parallel market and NAFEM rates grew to N160.67 per dollar from N43.77 per dollar on Monday.
