The President of the United Apostolic Church of Christ worldwide, Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi, has encouraged Nigerian citizens to have hope in God as the new year 2024 begins.

He was optimistic that the country would witness God’s intervention in the new year.

Rev. Dr. Owoyemi said, “God is the same regardless of different years. His compassion does not fail. He will intervene in most issues that are giving us concerns in the country.”

In a press release signed by the Media Director of United Apostolic Church of Christ W/W, Pastor Paul I. Erakhifu,
Rev. Owoeyemi stressed that Nigerians should continue to pray for the success of Tinubu’s administration, as God has appointed him for a special assignment in the country.

“God has declared 2024 to be our year of Divine empowerment and our watchword for the year as divinely inspired was according to Epistle of Paul Apostle to the Philippians 4:13, that I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me”

He further said. “We will enjoy divine empowerment to achieve many things in the new year.”

However, the UACC General Overseer urged Nigerians to continue serving the Lord and do His wills ever than before.

“We should shun all that have to do with evils.
God will surely visit the nation in 2024 and the righteous will smile.”

Also he said, “The economic situation of the land will witness a good turnaround”

“Nevertheless, people in governance should shun nepotism and govern with utmost fear of the Lord” he added.
