President Bola Tinubu has signed into law the N2.17 trillion 2023 Supplementary Budget.
Tinubu signed the Supplementary Budget on Wednesday in his office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, in the presence of Senate President Godswill Akpabio and House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.
Senate Leader, Sen. Opeyemi Bamidele; Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Sen. Olamilakan Adeola; Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabir Abubakar; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu; and Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Zachs Adedeji, were among those present at the signing ceremony.
The Supplementary Budget is expected to augment expenditures in the 2023 budget signed by immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari.
