The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday in Abuja rejected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s 15 witnesses.

The Tribunal held that their statements on oath were not filed along with the petition.

It also rejected 37 exhibits tendered by the witnesses.

The PEPT also struck out some aspects of the petition by Atiku and the PDP including that where they claimed Tinubu was qualified to contest the last presidential election.

In a ruling, on some motion by the respondents, the court held that while the petitioners claimed that Tinubu did not meet constitutional threshold to have contested the election, they failed stated what the required qualification was.
