In the Edo State local government election held on Saturday, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won all 18 Local Government Areas.
According to Channels Television, the results issued by the state’s independent electoral commission revealed that the PDP won all local government areas in the state.
On Saturday, elections were held in all of the state’s local government districts.
Aside from the PDP, the Labour Party, LP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC were among the main political parties that ran candidates for Chairmanship and Councillorship in all wards.
The APC and the LP were not to publish an official statement on the election results at the time of reporting this story.
