The Lagos State House of Assembly on Wednesday rejected 17 out of the 39 commissioner-nominees submitted by the State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Some of the nominees rejected by the House include a former Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi and former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso.
However, the lawmakers who had earlier berated the 39-man list when it was submitted weeks ago by Governor Sanwo-Olu, confirmed 22 nominees.
