PRESS RELEASE

WHD 2023: ANYIBE FOUNDATION HAILS HUMANITARIANS, NGOS

On this occasion of the World Humanitarian Day (WHD), 2023, we salute humanitarians and Non-Governmental Organisations all over the World who strive to meet ever-growing global needs for their resilience, perseverance and committment towards humanitarian causes despite facing tremendous difficulties and daunting challenges. The WHD 2023 with the theme: “No Matter What”, prioritises the strong bond between humanitarians and their promise to make correct judgements that focus on the welfare of the people in need, #NoMatterWhat.

For us at Anyibe Foundation, the theme of the WHD 2023 reminds us on the need to stand with the people and communities we serve, #NoMatterWhat. Humanitarian work is costly, difficult and dangerous, but we won’t give up on our commitment to deliver life-saving assistance to people in need, #NoMatterWhat. As our efforts have grown stronger, so too are the challenges we face. But we will never compromise on the humanitarian principles, but always strive to make the best decisions for the people we serve.

We reaffirm our commitment, as a Foundation, to the values and humanitarian principles that guide us, and remain deeply committed to serving people in need, and stand shoulder to shoulder with the communities we serve, bringing hope and succor to the downtrodden and ensuring assistance is accessible to the most vulnerable, #NoMatterWhat. We exist to serve the people. Without them, there is no us. We have no other purpose than to serve them. #NoMatterWhat, we will continue to work together in support of government and other key actors to save, protect, and improve lives.
