Pandemonium erupted in Lagos State’s Oba Akran Ikeja neighborhood after an unidentified helicopter crashed into a structure and burst into flames.
The event occurred at the AP Filling Station and the United Bank For Africa in Oba Akran.
According to eyewitnesses, the event occurred at 3.30 pm.
It was unclear whether the chopper’s pilots had survived as of press time. It was also unclear whether there were any further casualties since the rescue mission by first responders is still ongoing.
Men from the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are on standby to help with any future emergency operations.
