Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former Aston Villa striker, feels Victor Osimhen would be a fantastic addition to the Chelsea club.
The Blues are attempting to restructure their roster and have sold several regular players to Premier League opponents.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team has strengthened with the additions of Christopher Nkunku and Nicholas Jackson.
Agbonlahor, however, insisted that the West London club still need a player of Osimhen’s quality in their team.
“They (Chelsea) still need a proper striker. I liked Romelu Lukaku when he was playing at Everton. It is what a lot of teams need right out in the league as well,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“Victor Osimhen would be good, but I think they are talking around £170m for him, which is too much.”
The 24-year-old enjoyed a memorable 2022/23 season helping Napoli win their first Scudetto in 33 years.
He was the top scorer in Serie A with 26 goals from 32 appearances.
