President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Thursday met with the 14th Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, at the State House Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Sanusi, a former Central Bank Governor, arrived at the Villa before 05:00 pm, and proceeded immediately to the president’s office for a closed door meeting.
His visit comes barely one week after the President approved the suspension of the embattled Governor of the country’s apex bank, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
As at the time of filing this report, the agenda and details of the meeting between the two leaders remain largely unknown.
